Project Background
The South Campus of Jinan University is located between Xinzao Town and Nancun Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou, covering an area of about 1,000 mu. As one of the universities entering Guangzhou University Town in the second batch, it is an extension of Jinan University's school-running layout.
On May 19, 2012, with strong support from departments including the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the groundbreaking ceremony of the South Campus was held. It was completed in September 2014, successfully fulfilling the first-phase construction plan.
The completed South Campus boasts a beautiful environment, complete teaching and experimental equipment, a rich collection in the library, advanced sports, activity and living facilities, as well as improved management and institutional innovation.
